There is an old saying in the claim industry which still holds pretty much true. It suggests that there are three basic elements to any claim, regardless of how minor or severe it might be, and for most any type of coverage. They are: Coverage, Liability, and Damages. No matter what type of claim is involved, these three pieces must be addressed, generally in the order they’re listed. (more…)
